Molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) is a lubricant available in three grades—Technical, Technical Fine, and Super Fine. MoS2 content is available from 98% to 99%,typical MoS2 content (calculated average) is 98.5%.

Molybdenum disulfide is a good solid lubricating material. It has excellent lubricity for equipment under the conditions of high temperature, low temperature, high load, high speed, chemical corrosion and modern ultra-vacuum. Due to its low friction properties, it is widely used as solid lubricants such as greases, dispersants, friction materials, adhesive coatings, brake pads, carbon brushes, engineering plastics, etc.
